Prior to Chloe's launch, luxury fashion houses had only ever produced Haute Couture (i.e. made-to-measure) clothing. This was fine for the few who could afford it, but it left everyone else in frequently poorly-made copies, supplied by the local seamstress.
Chloe's creator, Gaby Aghion, rejecting the stiff formality of 1950s fashion (and sensing a gap in the market), decided to create a line of off the rack, high quality, soft, body conscious clothes from fine fabrics, which she called 'luxury pret-a-porter' and thus, the Ready-To-Wear market we know today, was born.
The mini-me collection was launched for Autumn/Winter 07 capturing the same spirit and taking direct inspiration from the mainline womenswear range, replicating the elegant, chic and quintessentially French heritage of the luxury designer.
Refined, elegant, easy glamour sum up Chloe kids clothes, taking it's inspiration from the adult collection. Signature details such as bows, belts and pintuck bib fronts add a traditional feel to this beautiful collection of Chloe kids clothing.
A crisp and gentle wind sweeps over the new Childrenswear collection.
Imbued with charm and character, this season’s Winter wardrobe plays on colour contrasts where powder pinks meet vibrant reds, heather greys are softened by icy blues and basics in soft shades of ivory, golden fawn and biscuit add warmth.
Fluid shapes, a comfortable elegance and beautifully crafted fabrics are signature codes at Chloé. This season once again, the Childrenswear collection takes inspiration from the main line. Embellishments appear as geometric studs, bringing a modern touch to dresses and sweatshirts, while graphic lines meander over colourful, fluid fabrics. Delicate guipure lace freshens blouses and waterfall ruffles make for pretty, twirly silk dresses. As the days get cooler, Chloé girls wrap up in pillowy, padded feather down coats and faux fur jackets to keep the cold at bay.
A graphic leopard print in shades of blue is paired with softer, rhinestone and sequin sprinkled pieces.
This season, little Chloé girls, like their mothers, cosy up in snug moonboots which add a sporty and playful touch to the perfect urban silhouette : a soft wool coat and angora knit layered over a silk dress with an all-over feather print.
Adele Casagrande founded a small leather and fur company in 1918, but it was through her marriage with Edoardo Fendi in 1925 that this Italian label got its famous name. After Karl Lagerfeld joined as the brand's creative director in 1966 and created the double F logo, Fendi rapidly grew into one of the world's premier luxury labels, with ready-to-wear, fragrance, eyewear, luggage and home furnishings among its many interests.
Working alongside renowned kidswear producer Simonetta, Fendi has created a range that reflects the innovative principals and ties to traditional craftsmanship. Fendi Kids Clothes enhances the opulent mainline range with its pastel colours, soft fabrics and the iconic FF logo. Fendi kids clothing epitomises the style and luxury of Italian fashion.
In 2011, Mayoral celebrated 70 years of "making friends". Throughout its history, you can discover thousands of stories, key moments, and decisions that have set our course… The most curious aspects are in its origins: what began as a modest company dedicated to the production and commercialization of socks and tights (‘Domínguez Toledo” in 1941), now has become a large group with international recognition and is an icon of Spanish fashion worldwide.
We love the Mayoral collection at Jakss, the best quality and styles that are perfect for your little ones and affordable too.
